He furthered his expertise by attending Kilgore Junior College, earning an Associates in Horology—the intricate study of timepieces and the science of measuring time. During his training, John crafted his own watch parts and tools from scratch, embodying the true essence of a watchmaker. One of the first to receive the esteemed Certified Watchmaker 21 title from the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute, John went on to establish John's Quality Watch Repair & Fine Jewelry.
